Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing information processed through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.

Usage data: We record which stock tickers you analyze, the date and time of each analysis, and your subscription tier. This is used to enforce usage limits and display your analysis history.

Technical data: We automatically collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and referring URL. We use this for security, debugging, and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service, including delivering stock analyses and managing your account
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe
  • Track and display your analysis history and price alerts
  • Monitor and improve the accuracy of our AI engine using aggregated, anonymized analysis outcomes
  • Respond to support requests and communicate important service updates
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Supabase: Database hosting and authentication (your account and analysis data)
  • Stripe: Payment processing (billing information for paid plans)
  • Vercel: Application hosting and deployment
  • AI providers: Stock ticker symbols and market data are sent to AI providers (Anthropic, Perplexity) to generate analyses. No personal user information is included in these requests.

4. Data Retention

Your analysis history is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Anonymized analysis data (used for accuracy tracking and AI improvement) may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to you.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Database access is restricted through role-based access controls. Authentication tokens are securely managed. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies & Analytics

Kasiel uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Vercel Analytics for basic, privacy-friendly usage metrics (page views, performance). We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your analysis history
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

8. Children's Privacy

Kasiel is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
